The Herbs of our Garden at Mas de Boudan

Le Mas de Boudan in Nîmes (30) where our restaurants are located, holds many secrets.
We have a square of aromatic herbs where we pick what we need according to the seasons and the recipes.
We reworked this garden with my friend Meilleur Ouvrier de France Art des Jardins Paysagés Frédéric Faure during the 2021 confinement to enlarge it and have more varieties of herbs available all year round.
Thyme, chives, lemon balm, sage, strawberry mint, chocolate mint, Chartreuse mint… from the most classic to the most original, we have a gourmet selection to choose from!
Watered with rainwater collected in the well of our Mas which was once an agricultural farmhouse, these plants are the subject of all our care.
To limit water needs and protect them, we use a mulch of BRF (Bois Raméal Fragmenté), from the sizes of the trees in our garden! We thus limit the inputs and recycle, because in the garden as in the kitchen: Nothing is lost and everything is transformed!
